Tramontina Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Gourmet Fry Pan

Tentative review as I just received (fast shipping!) and haven’t used it yet. New to this brand & looks like a well-made pan, needed for induction stove. Solid but not too heavy. Handles look good ( riveted). May buy another style.

One of the best purchases! I just bought the 8-inch pan and have been trying to switch to cooking with stainless steel. This was my first one, and I'm slowly adding more to my kitchen. It took a little getting used to, but it’s been totally worth it. It's replaced most of my non-stick pans, and I use it daily. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made!

Great pan! The heat is distributed evenly, perfect size for 2person meals! The handle provides a comfortable grip. Very good value too!!

I actually like this pan a lot and I read the directions for usage before using hand wash with warm soapy water and dry completely before use, medium to low heat only, don’t just heat an empty pan, let the pan cool completely before submerging in water, and acidic foods may cause discoloration. I kinda wish I’d used this with something “mild” like plain eggs or something because after one use (cooking marinated beef) the pan was immediately discolored . It’s fine though because I don’t think it’ll affect functionality or anything, but it was visually a bit much after just one use. They warned me though so I can’t be too mad about it. Overall happy with the purchase.

I’ve been using this pan for about 2 weeks now and so far, I believe it to be an excellent buy, especially for the price. The pans heat distribution seems to be nice and even and gives food a very pleasing brown crisp (for foods that you want a nice brown crisp with of course) . Its low heat nature is great for those of us seeking to cook less with high heat. The pan also feels very durable. I am able to use whatever utensil I have laying around in the kitchen to move food around the pan without worrying about damaging anything. That being said, I am still learning how to cook with lower heat and utilizing the pans nonstick features. Thanks to wirecutter for suggesting this pan.
