The knives became dull very fast

Love our Zwillig knives. The chef's knife works great.

I needed new knives and didn't want a huge set with pieces that wouldn't get used. These are very, very sharp! So I love that. I expected them to be a little heavier and that is my only reason for 4 stars. A terrific starter set.

Love the feel of each knife: good weight, well balanced, nice and sharp. The lack of a fifth star is because these were listed as being dishwasher safe, BUT the packaging says the manufacturer prefers that they be hand washed. I had to buy this set because the handles on my other Henkel knives cracked and split, after just three years of use and despite hand-washing them half the time. We'll see about this new set.

what a difference a good set of knives makes to my cooking ritual the Henckel set is a lovely addition to my regimen and makes the chopping and dicing so easy I love to cook- and with these knives make it even more fun and so much easier
