It makes it a lot easier to cut the mango.

This is an awesome mango slicer and cuts so there is very little fruit left on the core. The peeler functionality is a little confusing, but I am sure I will get the hang of it.!

Works great to core the mango, but can't get the base to peel the skin off very well, could be user error though

Very sharp blade. Cuts perfectly, only rarely cuts through the pit. I haven't been able to figure out how to use it to peel, but other than that, it works great.

I've used this mango slicer/peeler several times a week during July, and am happy to have it. It's better for small to medium sized mangoes, since the pit of a large mango will stop the blade. This is the reason for only 4 stars. The yellow peeler works nicely, removing most of the fruit from the skin.
