The pantry was much more sturdy than we expected. It's incredibly well-made, and I believe it will last us for a very long time. If you haven't read, there are metal bars under each shelf; pay attention. I suspect there will no longer be any wobbly shelves that sag in the middle. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. As a side note, we paid to have someone assemble it, thinking it would be very difficult. While it may have been, the people who came were spectacular. They arrived on time when they said they would, started immediately, and had it assembled perfectly in just under one hour. They were professional, but very friendly. Really nice pantry, has a lot of room for storage. It took me about 3 hours to build by myself. Instructions arent very clear but the photos suffice. The cabinet itself is nice and just as I expected, especially for the price. However, while all the parts were clearly numbered and lettered, the assembly instructions could use more clarity and detail. There were a couple of times when I had to disassemble and reassemble portions of the cabinet because the instructions weren’t clear, and it wasn't until several steps later that I discovered that I had assembled something incorrectly. The particle board can also be somewhat fragile during assembly, so I recommend taking care when tightening the screws to avoid stripping or damaging the material. Finally, this is definitely a two-person assembly job, particularly when putting the larger pieces together. Overall, I’m happy with the cabinet and feel it’s a good value for the price.
