It made soft serve ice cream that I put in freezer to get it hard. It works nicely but ice cream is not hard till you put it in throw freezer. The ice cram scoop that came with it broke the first time I tried to use it. Luckily I had a nice scoop I use to make cookies with and it worked fine. It takes about 45 to minutes to make soft serve ice cream. There was no recipes for ice cream worth the machine , a real short comming. You have to figure out how much the machine can hold. It says you can only fill up 60% but there are no markings soon you have to guess. My second was much better than my first. Its a great price on sale!. Richard. VA. Sun Jul 03 2022
