Very nice set. The dinner, garnishes and sides look like the food in a Japanese restaurant on these plates without much effort. The trim color is not a metallic glaze, so it is fine for the microwave. The plates have a slight texture, which is nice--not too clinical-looking. I use the bowls to serve sides.. Paulina. I like this set a lot. It seems like it's good quality. I have not used them yet but they arrived today, unbroken. I put them through the dishwasher and they washed up nicely. I'd like to take off one star for the delayed delivery, but this isn't suppose to be a review about Wayfair's poor delivery service.
