Wonderful experience from begining to end. The price was very reasonable and fair. Best price for this set out there. They shipped fast and I got so excited! Sadly, they shipped via FedEx. So at one point they got stuck somewhere for a few days and I got worried they were all going to get broken so I reached out to Wayfair customer service and asked for some help. They said they sent their dept a message to help get it moving again and it worked! Whatever they did WORKED! I got the dishes the next day in perfect condition. No chips, nothing broken. Perfect. Thank you Wayfair!
Now, as for the DISHES! WOW! I had some old pieces parts china left over from a previous ex-inlaw and it was over due that I finally bought some nice china. I was considering the Mikasa but the reviews are pretty consistant that the quality just isn't there anymore. Then I found this Noritake Charlotta platinum dishes. The pics online made it tough to see the pattern for the silver but the gold was amazing! But I didn't want the gold. I felt like the gold was a little too fancy for us but it was stunning in the pics. Anyways, the dishes are a nice weight. They felt strong, not super fragile. We will use them as special occasion dishes, not every day dishes. I can't imagine using these or the gold ones as every day dishes. That just seems a little extra to me, but if that works for you, go for it! I feel like they would be durable enough for it. I made sure to take pics of the dishes as I unpacked them and of the silver design as best I could so there would be a clear vision of the pattern. Looks like I can only upload a few of them though. Each piece had a bar code sticker on them that I had to remove. I wish I could have swapped the coffee cups for bowls, but oh well. I can buy bowls separately.
They really are stunning. I would buy them again.. Jmc. Ohio. Wed Jan 08 2025
