They are dishwasher and microwave safe IF you remove the metal strainer and the wooden handle. DO NOT microwave the teapot with the metal strainer and wooden handle still attached to the pot.

Very nice well made tea pot. My initial one wobbled due to the bottom not being even, so customer service sent me out another set. It was nice not having to pack up the defective one and get out in covid to return it. They said donate it! So I did just that! My hubby was able to sand the bottom down and seal it with a high heat clear coat to make it sit flat like it should be. I donated it to my less fortunate sister.
