Since I required black lamps for my ensuite, this was perfect along with the "country look" since it will be at my cottage. The only thing I wasn't sure of was the brushed nickel finish on the inside. First used a warm white bulb which made the room very yellow and the wall behind looked terrible. Changed the bulb to daylight which improved the room colour greatly. Did not think that the inside of the light would have such an effect on the overall room lighting.

I purchased this light in in black and chrome which matched my faucet which I also, purchased from here.

Nice quality and nice looking lamp. I have 3 over my sink. The light given off is a golden glow. If you want a whiter light you'd need a longer bulb, or you'd have to paint the inside of the light "white". We tested this with aluminum foil and got a completely different look. My husband said it was easy as any other wall lamp to install. I was in charge of the lightbulbs.
