Barrios 5 - Light Kitchen Island Pendant

After opening the pendant light we opted not to use it. The material was not as sturdy as expected. The rods would not screw all the way down into the pendant light. The biggest concern was the warning label that identified there maybe cancer causing chemicals used in the light- according to the state of California. It’s a beautiful concept and we were really disappointed as it’s a perfect size and color, however the materials just weren’t up to par.

Let me just say Wayfair has the fastest shipping. The light arrived well packaged and was kinda hard to remove from the box. The light is beautiful and exceeded my expectations in terms of quality. I will update pictures once I install it. It’s actually much bigger than I thought.

The description on the Barrios 5 pendant didn’t note the size of the glass domes on the inside so I have included the measurements in the pictures. This is a solid pendant that gives off plenty of pretty light as it aluminates through the textured glass. It can also be put on a dimmer. It’s a nice price and I would have given 5 stars but the metal part is not really chrome or brushed nickel so is difficult to coordinate but is still a soft metal look.

Was just installed today and it's beautiful! I put this in my dining room and is a perfect fit whether it's with a table for 6 or 10. Will be looking for a companion light for the foyer soon.

The color wasn't as expected. It was more of a dull brownish, I was expecting it to be more of a gold color. I ended up returning it.
