The chairs claim to be extra wide, and they are definitely wider than regular gravity chairs at 33” wide. They also seem heavy duty and come with multiple ‘extras’ like a full length cushion, headrests, foot rest, cup holders, and a sleep mask and ear plugs! The frame is heavy duty plastic instead of metal, which I like because I’ve had metal framed chairs that quickly rusted in the elements. One of the chairs arrived with a dent at the top, but it’s not extremely visible, so we don’t really care. The chairs are comfortable and have a locking mechanism that keeps the chairs in place. I like that the cushion is removable so you can use it with or without, and I love the sun blocking piece if you don’t want sun in your eyes. I’ve used the chair without the pad and it’s comfortable without as well. We will be keeping these chairs in a shed when not in use, so I can’t speak to rust. Overall, this is a great set of chairs that seem well made.

My family is full of XL guys. I bought these chairs hoping to give them somewhere comfy to lounge at our lake house. These chairs are comfy and the sun shade is nice, however they are not built for generously sized gentlemen. My brother almost needed a shoehorn and a vat of Crisco to get in and the jaws of life to get out. Maybe the chairs are made for extra tall guys. They most certainly are not made for my family of offensive linemen or big booties.

It serves it purpose from the looks of it, it also looks strong enough for my weight I will recommend it to anyone also the price is good for two. so far I like it

Essentially no assembly required. We didn’t even use the cushions and they were super comfortable! Can’t wait to get more use out of these.

Unfortunately, the description led me to believe that these were extra wide. I have purchased other ones from mayfair that we’re also called extra wide and actually were. The older models were made of canvas which prevent the sun coming through the top better than these two. These are mesh. So there’s not much sun blockage. Also being made of plastic, they are slippery. The cushions are good. The price was good for the two, but I am sorry that I missed the fact that they aren’t canvas. Doing returns as a major hassle so we will live with them, but they’re not our favourite chairs. Well built all the same, just not what we wanted.
