Sundberg Steel Outdoor Bench

I like this bench but the directions were hard to read and understand and that’s putting it lightly. One of the pieces of the seat arrived extremely scratched as well.

So I had hoped that the bad reviews about the wood slats being flimsy were just a case of a bad batch of wood or something, but as always my attempts at optimism were a big fat fail. For context, I'm a 125lb woman. With just me on this, the wood slats bow down dramatically, never mind what happens when my toddlers climb on with me. My poor husband tried sitting on it (by himself) but lasted about 5.7 seconds because he was afraid he was going to break it. With what they claim the weight limit is, I feel like this shouldn't be happening. Either way, this bench is pretty much unusable for anything other than ornamentation. If you plan on actually using it with any frequency or having guests on it, I would recommend any one of these options: 1) Good health insurance 2) Solid liability insurance 3) Skipping this bench and picking a better one.

Garbage…did not last 4 months without the back plastic and particle board on back breaking apart. Threw it out. Waste of money.

This bench looks very nice, but it has a lot of give when you sit on it. I am concerned it will eventually break.
