It’s not red. It’s maroon. But it is nice and I like the solar lights. The base is ridiculous and one of the dumbest designs I’ve ever seen. I used pavers and plants to dress up the base as opposed to the sand bags that came with. I wish the top would rotate. Instead you have to move the entire base to reposition the umbrella.. Tabi. Great Umbrella! Easy to assemble and took about 15 minutes. The base does require sand to keep it secured, but it comes with heavy duty canvas sand bags that fit inside the square base. The hand crank to open and close it turned easily and fully extended it covers a lot of space. You do have to play with the clamp/arm to get the angle you want, but its easy to operate. I wish they had provided slightly larger tie strings as they barely go around the umbrella to secure it while down. A piece of velcro fixed that issue. I got the khaki color and it a nuetral color.. It's a nice colour but not orange in my opinion so it doesn't match other orange decor. It's much closer to red and I wonder if it was boxed wrong. Seems decent quality but hard to say in less than a week's use. I family member put it together when I was away and Wayfair still offered to return it as didn't meet description. I increased it a star for great customer service.. Anonymous. Wed Sep 23 2026
