simplehuman 4 Litre / 1.06 Gallon Compost Caddy, Detachable and Countertop Bin Trash Can

Little disappointed. Doesn’t seal so draws fruit flys

Purchased in white and it is like all simplehuman products, sleek, slim line, and perfect fit for the space.

I got the white one and it really does look great on the countertop, even if it's a compost bin. It's designed and made well, albeit expensive for what it is. It doesn't have an air-tight seal, but it locks in odors from food waste that have been in the bin for 2-3 days no problem. Overall, I'm happy with it and I recommend!

Now this is a great buy!!! Well worth the money!!! I got the white finish to match my kitchen and I cant say enough good about the item. The product is superb quality and the manufacturer was quite generous. They included 30 biodegradable liners that fit perfectly, and also a magnetic bracket that can be used on a Simplehuman floor model trash can...which I will later order. The packaging was excellent. When I opened the box I found the can was enclosed in a dust cover...much like a ladies high end handbag. Immediately it got my attention. I purchased this for my countertop but its good to know I can move it if I change my mind. The removable basket makes ease for cleaning and the stay open lid option is nice. It isnt obviously large and looks great in my kitchen. Ive looked at alot of countertop compost bins but this was beyond my expectations. Glad I spent the extra because it is well worth it! Container is great and fits on perfect but arrived damaged. I tried to bend it back to shape and was unsuccessful. I chose to get the open box product assuming with would be in good condition but it’s not. It’s very unpleasant to look at and I can’t exchange. Disappointed

Great compost addition to our simple human trashcan. TBH I'd give it 5 stars except that there's not an automatic lid opener like their trashcan and that would be incredible for those times I have a bunch of gross things in my hand.

It has a modern and sleek look. It looks nice enough to keep out on the counter. The plastic interior bin is easy to remove and rinse clean. With the recommended compostable bags, cleaning is a snap. Definitely recommend.

Grateful they offered this in white to help blend in with the wall. Decent size and hides the bags well, as all simple human receptacles do.

Clean, slick, blends into my white countertop. Hold most small (compostable) produce bags. We empty it daily.
