Competing brands don't match Oster's use of time-proven heat resistant and non-conductive heavy-duty bakelite with a stainless case. Bonus feature is a temp/time control. This one should last years

I love mine! I've had it for a few years and it works great! The waffles come out perfect, it's simple to use and easy to clean.

The wiring shorted and I was nearly electrocuted. This appliance has a metal case but has no safety ground. It appears to be a design flaw or possibly quality control.

This waffle maker does NOT make crispy waffles. The top of the waffle is not at the same temp as the bottom - it cooks unevenly. No issues with sticking but do not recommend it.

I just purchased this waffle maker and I have not even used it yet but I am quite disappointed after reading the operating instructions that oster would put out a product where you have to do your own timing to know when the waffle is done. I am replacing a waffle maker that is probably 20 years old and it told you when the waffle is done. This waffle maker is already a disappointment to me and with todays technology I can’t believe someone would make such a disappointing product.
