This item is perfect for under our new roof. We ordered two of them for each end. Everything came in perfect condition. I spent a lot of time reading the directions before assembly, and it allowed me to assemble the product with ease. The wiring was a cinch, and it is quite secure on our roof. It didn't take long to assemble and install the second one. The lights and fans work excellently, and the remotes are very handy as well. It's quiet and complements our design. We are very pleased with this purchase.
