These assembly portion of these chairs was very poorly designed. You have to get screws and nuts wedged in between layers of the weave and try to screw together using a small wrench that slips a lot and a hex screwdriver on the other end that doesn’t stay in place and if you have medium to large fingers it makes it even more challenging. Once you do get it all together you’ll find that it doesn’t sit evenly because nothing is made well enough to fit together tightly- and too many pieces to get them all aligned. The cushions are thin and the fabric is stiff. One picture shows where the screws have to be wedged in to fit together.

I would not buy these chairs again. They were hard to put together- not because it’s a lot of steps or complicated, but because the bolts are extremely hard to get to when installing them. They seem very cheaply made and are not very comfortable to sit on.

If these chairs were judged solely on how they look, they'd easily get five stars. They have a clean, modern design, feel surprisingly sturdy, and the wicker looks much nicer in person than I expected. The color is also a little darker than the listing photos, which I actually preferred because it looks richer and hides dirt better. Once they're finally assembled, they feel like a quality set. Now for the part that nearly made me question all of my life choices: assembly. I have put together a lot of furniture over the years, and this was, without exaggeration, the most difficult assembly I've ever done. You have to somehow use an Allen wrench and a regular wrench at the same time through tiny gaps in the wicker while trying to keep everything aligned. It felt like I needed an extra elbow. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble a single chair, and the seat screw holes didn't line up very well, making the last step especially frustrating. Bring patience... and maybe stretch your back beforehand. One lesson I learned the hard way: don't put these under a tree. I did, and the cream-colored cushions stained almost immediately from tree debris. Thankfully, the cushion covers have zippers and come off easily, so washing them wasn't a big deal. Overall, I'm really happy with how the chairs look and they seem like they'll hold up well over time. They're attractive, comfortable, and feel high quality. Just know you'll be paying for that quality with a sore back, a couple hours of your life, and a newfound appreciation for furniture that comes pre-assembled.

These work okay for outdoor chairs. They are not the most comfortable, but do the job they were made for. The only complaint I would have is the assembly. You have to get your fingers in the middle of the wrapped arm rest coils. (see photo). My husband took hours putting the chairs together in frustration. I would recommend the chairs, but beware of the assembly issues.
