However, the bath towels are about the size of the children’s towels I buy my kid, they also leave black lint on damp skin for at least the first few washes.

They’re made from 100% cotton in a bright neutral white that works with practically any color. I gave them a good wash, with fabric softener, and the came out fluffy and soft. I would consider these a medium weight, and the bath towel length is just right.
