I owned and used the tumbler under normal conditions for two years. After the first year the bolts that fasten the axle to the stand broke. So, I replaced them. After two years the barrel is splitting at the seams where the axle passes through. The bin is not and has never been full and the drain plug has been removed to allow for the liquid to escape (i.e., less weight). Even if it was full, I would expect the components to be designed to handle the advertised capacity. It should last longer than a couple of years.
