Item looks very nice but there is no way to secure it at the bottom. As it is very heavy, it is highly likely to crash down with only support from top bracket. Not safe. Wayfair “chat” told me it is not supposed to be hung! The why is it called a hanging shelf and why are there instructions to mount the top brackets into the wall? I want to return this, Wayfair being less than helpful.

It is very nice and just as pictured. It is just quite pricey for what it is. It fits very well above my toilet. It is a good fit for the space
