Tissu bijou de jardin enchanté

I was looking for the perfect pattern, colour and quality of upholstery fabric to redo the seats of my vintage maple dining chairs. This fabric and blend (linen/rayon) seemed perfect especially given the listed specs: 2.82 lbs/yard; heavyweight; 24000 rub rating. Unfortunately, what arrived was a lightweight fabric with the entirety of 6 yards wrapped on a cardboard core and covered with heavy plastic weighing in at 6.6 pounds as opposed to the expected approximately 18 pounds - definitely not heavy weight! Our upholsterer looked at it and suggested it would be "okay" but would definitely not wear as the fabric listing suggested nor was it priced as per the lightweight quality received. I contacted Wayfair customer service and was able to negotiate a price reduction which together with one from the upholsterer, should result in a "reasonably" priced reupholstering project. Hopefully, to avoid disappointment for any other customers, the online specifications will be checked against the actual product in the warehouse and if needed, be updated, including price adjustments.
