The finished product looks great and the leveling adjustment system with the roller is genuinely clever but getting there nearly broke me. Not because the installation is technically difficult. It's because the manual is a disaster. It goes beyond the poor translation issues we've all come to expect. Parts in the box are unlabeled and the guide to identifying them is vague at best, so plan on spending your first two hours just figuring out what you're looking at.
One page in the early steps calls for you to use a completely wrong part name and number which doesn't make sense, but at that point, nothing really makes sense.
I'm a reasonably handy person and this was a full day project. Bring a friend there's a step where you're simultaneously holding a glass panel, fitting it into a side slot and the top rail, while attaching a top rail to the walls. If you follow the instructions, you to caulk the panel in place, remove it, add the top bar, and reinstall it. Except the bar and panel don't fit together unless you execute it in exactly the right sequence. Have fun figuring that out.
The instructions also leave the cutting instructions vague, You are told to cut a piece after you actually install it? And if you don't pay close attention before the instructions begin, you're told you need to cut the top rod, but you don't really cut the top rod until almost the end? Lol. No stress. You're only cutting parts that ruin the whole thing if you get it wrong.
You'll need a 1/4" and 5/16" drill bit for two different anchor sizes — the manual just says 1/4" for everything, which is wrong. Budget time for a hardware store run.
A few things were simply out of spec regardless of skill level. Some plastic trim pieces were the wrong length, and the water barrier flange between the glass panels is a comedic 1/4" short — not adjustable, just how it is. If I'd known that upfront I would have built the door the other direction so water sprays toward the fixed panel.
The soft close feature never worked despite every adjustment I could think of, honestly I don't miss it.
The whole thing hangs on four small screws in wall anchors that I'd describe as optimistic.
Would I buy it again? Probably, it's nice when it's done. But I'd have paid more for a manual written by someone who'd actually assembled one.. Matt. Holyoke, CO. Mon Jun 08 2026
