Pros: 4th of July sale price was very good. Liked that the footboard is tall enough to keep the mattress in place front to back. Like that the legs have rubber feet so they don't scratch the floor. (I'd still put them on a floor protector feet since the legs are skinny). Like the white metal that's reasonably & nicely soldered. Like the white metal with faux wood (although no one will ever be fooled that it's real wood). Cons: there are eleven slats that are spaced pretty wide apart. The slats are also pretty narrow. I'd use plywood under the mattress if the mattress were thin. Our mattress is pretty thick but I do worry about how the skinny, wide spaced slats will deform the mattress underneath over time. Also, the frame does not hold the mattress in side to side. So, the mattress slides around pretty easily. Finally, in person the bed frame looks a little institutional. Thank good for the faux wood.
