Round expanding mahogany dining room table with leaves. A traditional round pedestal table that can be used at 60-inches round for seating 4 to 6 people or it can expand with three leaves to become a 10-foot-long oval dining table for seating up to 12 people. This table can be used with no leaves, one, two or all three leaves and each leaf adds 20-inches to the table’s overall length. The tabletop is decorated with pie-cut flame mahogany Veneers and finished with solid mahogany edging, and everything is finished with an extra dark walnut colour. This dark walnut finish was developed for transitional homes decorated with pastel colours and for historic homes with dark trim and patina. It is a very dark, rich colour that is virtually black in a dim lit dining room. The pedestals are very heavy and significant, the out-sweeping sabre legs are made from solid mahogany and the legs are reinforced with inset steel support braces. The feet are capped in a heavy brass cap and levellers. Table is manufactured with American made steel table slides. An heirloom designer-grade round expansion table.
