I bought this as my niece had one that I thought was a great look. I needed a bookcasestand for an area and this was perfect. Though the instructions and all of the photos I’ve seen had the two small sections opposite each other, I compared it to my niece’s and I like the look of both of the small areas on the same side. I was hoping to able to construct it the same as my niece’s but if not, I’d be ok with it. After receiving the Brayden bookcase, it was possible to put it together either way (though the instructions don’t say this). Happy camper here! I was also worried that the color would be too brown, but the color is more espresso- almost black which is what I wanted. Yay!

I bought two for each side of my fireplace and it’s just the perfect size. I love it!!! Its easy to follow the instructions. Its not only unique but very functional.

Very sturdy, easy to assemble, and a fun twist on more classic shelves. It's definitely darker and not as warm as it looks in the advertised picture, which was a disappointment, but overall I have no big complaints.

Would not buy, love the look but structurally unsound. It was not overloaded but the shelves started to bend.
