Office 500 3 Piece Rectangular Writing Desk Office Set

I have purchased this brand before and it holds up well.

The color (Storm Grey) matches my office furniture really well. It was pretty hard to find, but when I found it, I was really excited. My husband put it together in a couple of hours, however, the rails for one of the drawers were replaced with a different part, and although the replacement was noted on the instructions, the drawer did not install well. My husband tweaked it a little, but never was perfect. Not too noticeable. Our suggestion is that if you are going to replace parts, make sure the new parts work.

This is a truly beautiful piece, and it makes my office look much more professional. It feels sturdy and appears to be well made overall. There are, however, some minor scratches — a few are not very noticeable, but others are more visible. The finish on the edges of the wood could definitely use improvement, as it needs better coverage. Also, note that the back of the cabinet is not real wood — it’s a very light, thin material that feels more like paper. This might matter depending on where you plan to place it. For the price, I expected a more refined and well-finished product. Overall, it looks great and functions well, but the finishing details could be better.

My first ever purchase from Wayfair. The shipped box looked like Ace Ventura delivered it but everything inside was well packed and in good condition. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is for the amount of overspray with the glue used to stick the paneling on the wood. Took a bit of cleaning up but looked great afterward. Assembly is basic with easy to follow directions and only needs a phillips head screw driver. (not provided) The storm grey wood panels with the metal handle accents give off a retro mad men vibe that I like. In fact I liked it enough to buy the matching desk.
