This was a good investment since we have alot of books. Overall its pretty sturdy for the height, if you have children definitely make sure you screw this to the wall. This was not a hard build, yes some parts weren't best quality but for the price its as good as its gonna get. I would recommend especially if you need storage space. The height of the shelves is adjustable so it was easy to put the heavy ones on the bottom. This really ties the rec room together, might even snag another one soon

The side of the bookcase had a scratch on it when it arrived. We already flattened the box and other packaging and did not want to return and ship such a large item.
