I have had this for over a year. It gets mild use being in front of an accent chair in the living room. It holds a lot of items that I need to tidy up before company arrives. I typically throw matchbox cars, legos, video game remotes, and general kid clutter in the ottoman. It is sturdy enough for an adult to use it as a seat, I would say anyone under 150 would feel well supported. The hammered nail brad detail are all still in place. My dogs like to sit on it as well. The lid stays on nicely, but it also easily removed. I took one star away because the fabric is piling at a faster rate than other furniture purchased at the same time and the top indented design can be a dirt/crumb catcher. I have the dark charcoal color.

Worked perfect in the space and color matched.
