Beautiful piece, well made and came in perfect condition!

Absolutely stunning! Heavy piece of furniture and great quality!

Possibly the WORST customer service experience I’ve ever had. Also, an extremely cheaply made but beautiful piece that is way overpriced. Upon arrival, the box was heavily damaged—and so was the hall tree inside. At least three clear defects were visible on this cheaply made and extremely overpriced piece of furniture. One defect caused a puncture wound from an exposed sharp metal edge that clearly hadn’t been smoothed during production. Another defect appeared to have been patched to cover the issue. Several holes had splinters sticking out, making it not only unattractive but dangerous. My first interaction with Wayfair’s customer service was actually pleasant. I asked what the return process would be, and since I didn’t have photos at the time, I was advised to reach back out once I did. The second customer service rep was also helpful. I sent photos, and they arranged for a replacement—at no charge—and told me I didn’t need to return the damaged product. That’s where things began to unravel. The replacement shipment showed as partially canceled—yet I then received an email saying it was on the way. We waited, assuming it would arrive(as with the original order). When it didn’t, I contacted Wayfair again. On May 16, I was told a completely different story. The new CSR said the previous representative had made a mistake and should not have told me to keep the damaged items. Now, they were requiring me to return them before I could get a refund or full replacement. I asked to just receive a refund and not return the broken hall tree—exactly as I was originally told. This request was denied. I explained that I had no way to repackage the large, broken furniture—no box, no styrofoam. I also live in a rural area where the nearest FedEx or UPS store is over an hour away, and I don’t have a vehicle large enough to transport a hall tree. May 16 I spent 1 hour, 23 minutes, and 7 seconds on this issue—more time wasted thanks to Wayfair’s inconsistencies. For context, my first two calls were resolved in under 20 minutes combined. Then, on May 18, I finally received an email stating
“FedEx does not pick up unpackaged items and Wayfair does not provide packaging materials. However, I have arranged a complimentary pickup with our third-party carrier, HUB Group. You do not need a return shipping label and the item does not need to be disassembled or packaged.” I do appreciate this small gesture—offering a complimentary pickup without requiring packaging. I was told to leave it outside for picked up. I questioned if it were to be raining and was told again to leave it outside (in the rain). Yet, given everything—the injury, the unsafe product, the inconsistent information, and hours of wasted time—it’s disappointing that there was no offer of a discount, credit, or even a sincere apology. So thank you, Wayfair, for wasting my time and money. Now you’ll be paying even more in return shipping costs, which may very well exceed the cost of the product itself. The good news
My money is now staying local. I’m purchasing a handcrafted hall tree from a woodworking shop right here in the USA. It will be higher quality in both materials and craftsmanship—and I’ll actually be able to speak directly to someone who stands by their work.

The quality is amazing. Solid construction and a beautiful piece of furniture.

Gorgeous, solid quality piece of furniture. Most of my furniture is from this company- Liberty. It is always beyond expectations- the hinges are great quality and prevent slamming, the wood is solid, and there is minimum to do to put it together. The only minor issue is that two of the holes on the mirror brace are slightly off. Still working on getting the bolts in but it seems sturdy with the ones that are currently in.
