Saffia Upholstered Ottoman

First of all, the pricing is a scam. The full price for this item used to be $1,200 and it was on sale for quite some time at around 50% off. I purchased this at $589, and I can barely justify that cost. The first one was damaged (horribly packaged, bent legs). The second one was ok, but the plastic caps on the feet just jammed up inside the hollow legs and the jagged metal edges damaged my floors (I now have to use rubber caps over the feet). The upholstery is haphazard and uneven around the edges. It is a nice concept due to the storage and the low back design, but I only purchased this because it was the exact dimensions for a very awkward space that I needed to fill.

Chairs are great - very firm. Leg ends arrived damaged due to dragging outside the packaging, but I'm sure they'll send me replacement pieces.
