Bought this stand expecting the colour shown online, but unfortunately it looked completely different in person. The brown was much darker once we opened the package, which was disappointing. We just put this together and really like it! The assembly did take awhile for my husband to do, but he didn't run into any issues. I do wish some of the spaces had holes drilled into the back for wires for speakers and the like, but we can always do that ourselves. The opening of the clear door is a little bit awkward with no handle- but we pull on the metal part sticking out and that works just fine (and we can add a knob/handle if we really want to). A very functional record stand/storage unit. It included good directions and was easy to assemble. A drill driver or electric screwdriver is a must. With these it took just over 4 hours to assemble the unit. I did put wood glue in the grooves that the back pieces slip into, to give it more stability. I haven’t added my records or player to the stand yet, mainly because I need assistance getting it to the bedroom. This thing is heavy! I mean that in the best way possible too, this is not cheap looking and it’s not gonna blow over with the wind like some faux wood pieces might. It’s very nice looking, arrived fast and well packaged. Took an hour or so to assemble. Hardest part was bringing it inside, I think the box said it was 60 pounds! This table is exactly what I was looking for when it came to style and dimensions. It was very heavy, so ask for help. Nothing came damaged and the instructions were very easy to follow. The only issue I experienced was one of the pre-drilled holes being off-centered, but I just made a new hole with a pointed screw I already had. Other than that, the product is pretty accurate to the photos with the exception of the color of the sliding doors.
