I agree with the other reviewers. This is a complete nightmare. I had to end up returning the unit even though I followed all the measurement guidelines precisely. Now I have to fix a damaged wall, ceiling and a broken rail on the outside steps. Plus, my hardwood floors are now scratched.

Total Nightmare! First off, the top WILL NOT fit through your door. Secondly, the delivery men will not take off the packing to get the other 2 pieces that can fit through the door, through. Third, the pillars only line up if you push the back top piece farther against the wall (not sure if this is a design flaw or if it is intended to be that way. We used Wayfair’s 3rd party contracted services “Handy”, to put it together but had to cancel because I first had to cut the top off and clue it back together to fit it into the door. Can’t really put something together when half of it is still sitting outside your door. Once you get that done it’s going to take more than two guys to get the top on. It took 5 adults to put this top piece on and get the pillars to stay where they needed to be, and even with all those people it was still very, VERY challenging. Lastly, from a far distance the quality seems great. However, when you get closer you can see several staining flaws especially around the side panels that move. It’s like they were not held in place when stained. There are also about three dips (holes) on the top bar counter. If I had to do it over again, we would have went with something different. The problem with items like this is you can’t return it and are stuck with what you get : (

This bar is beautiful and very high quality. The only issue is that you MUST MEASURE YOUR DOOR!! It MUST be 84" high or the top section will not get in, period. I ended up paying a carpenter $2,500.00 to take it apart (with a saw), move it in, then re-assemble it. And I have a large home with large doors. They deliver it in two section on a freight truck with one guy and a pallet jack, we had five BIG men including myself, and needed them or they would have left it in the street. We had to take off the shrink wrap (inside the truck) then take each piece off one at a time (4 total). Have 4 BIG guys to help. I can't believe they didn't make the top in 2 sections.
