One always needs foot stools and I don't like average designs. And if I can get more storage in the process all the better. This a beautiful item, very minimal assembly - actually none. The color is a slightly off white. The material is soft, but still a shearling feel. I love the unique design and it will go well in my family room. The lid removes fully, but is secure with the black found pegs/feet when on the top so it won't slip off. Definitely recommend!

The Ottoman is very attractive. It is very smooth to the touch. It has a unique design and will be able to fit nicely in a small space. There is adequate storage available inside. The top is not really designed for flip over storage. I would definitely recommend it.
