Laksha Upholstered Storage Bed

BEWARE! The structural support of this bed is a joke. To start with, The slat width could VOID YOUR MATTRESS WARRANTY which may not apply to most people but if you are in a trial period for a new mattress, every site I’ve been on says the slats need to be 3” from each other for proper support. These are a full 5”. The center supports are split into two pieces and do not attach to the headboard, the footboard, or even to each other. As a result, they essentially “float” in the middle of the bed and don’t touch the floor unless weight is applied. You can hear the slats and legs clack and make contact with the hardwood floor when getting into bed. The center crossbeam does not sit flush with the top of the frame, so it provides little to no support for the mattress. The drawers are not mounted on rails and simply slide freely under the bed, which feels cheap and sloppily executed. Some of the slats don’t even rest on the center supports, contributing to the orchestra of unsettling noises when getting into bed. There are loose threads hanging from the front of the headboard, which further reflects the lack of quality. One important note for buyers the gap between the slats and the headboard is approximately 11 inches. If you have a 10-inch mattress, expect pillows and other items to routinely fall into the abyss. Looked into returning it and it was going to cost half of what I paid for the bed to return. That said, this was a terrible purchase.

Took me three hours to put together by myself, but I was surprised at how sturdy the frame is, once it’s fully put together! It’s beautiful, and I love the aesthetic it brings to my room.

I love this bed it’s so beautiful! I’ve wanted a bed just like this for years! It did take me a while to put it together and I had to ask for help. So in all definitely a 2 person job to assemble!! The drawers underneath are a great size for clothes or storage of sheetstowels etc.

Great bed. I measured and knew the headboard was not going to be that tall. Still wish it was taller. Bed is sturdy and assembled well. Also the blue is not a true navy but with a slight teal undertone.

Product smells absolutely terrible. Box missing 5 screws. Cracked leg.
