Thatcham Upholstered Ottoman (Set of 2)

The page states "made of high-quality mdf, solid frame" and that it holds 400lbs. It is super thin particle board on the seat. It was snapped under minimal weight the second day. The photos do not show just how flimsy the sides are but they are just material with basic thin material. In no way, shape or form will it hold 400lbs in weight ON the product. It is a misrepresentation. If I had paid $20 at Dollar General, I'd have expected it but for the high price tag I just feel ripped off. For the weight and bulk of the items, it's useless to return. The only up side is you can fit two plastic milk-crate type containers with paperwork inside to hide them from view and with 1/2 inch cardboard (had extra) between the crates and the lid, a dog could lie on it. Otherwise, do NOT depend on this holding any weight, ever.

The product description states that it is able to hold up to 400lbs, however the sides and bottom are made of 1/8inch fiber board-covered with fabric (essentially thick cardboard, covered by fabric). The sides and bottom bend and flex, and by no means should ANY weight be put on this product. I am extremely disappointed at the HIGH COST of this inferior product (it is worth $20, maybe), AND the app seems to have lost the ability to "RETURN" this item.
