Marais Dining Table

Very easy set up, solid wood. Nice piece of furniture for the price.

As soon as we opened the box, we realized there was a long crack on one side of the table, but it felt strong and stable, so we decided to keep it. The other issue is the quality. Isn't is supposed to be solid wood? So, why a layer chipped off from a corner? Luckily, I was able somehow to save it with some glue, but it makes me kinda nervous knowing that this layer could come off whenever it wants. Also, the way the legs are attached to the top makes the table not super sturdy, it wobbles easily.

It looks good on the pictures but there were several issues with the table I've received. Could be an isolated incident so I'm not trying to discourage anyone of buying it. Those white lines in the table top are like tile grouts & were cracked all over the table and even fallen out several places. The legs had some long cracks in it but once again it could be an isolated incident and not typical of this wood which I'm not familiar with.
