This is a nice, small storage bench for smaller entranceways or bedrooms. Be mindful of the overall dimensions when ordering. The length stated has a typo error in the schematic drawing. The actual length is 1008mm (39 1116”), NOT 1080mm (42 12”). Also, when ordering we were always looking at the length but never the depth of the bench. This bench is a little small when placed right up against the wall. We’ve had to move it out around 2 12” to make it comfortable to take shoes on and off.

This is the cutest storage ottoman! Perfect for our couch side of our master bedroom.

So the fabric is not velvet, but it is well made. I thought I had seen it was made in Canada, so was disappointed it was made in China - I must have mixed up the products I was looking at. Overall happy with the piece.
