Dowdel 5-Drawer Dresser with Interlock Drawer Safety Feature, Pre-assembled Metal Roller Slide

Laminate and particle board feel flimsy and cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I have not put this together yet, as you can see it comes in about 1,000 pieces! The pieces are not a good quality either. The color and design are nice but I do not see this looking good for very long. It will be a temporary piece. Edit went right in the dumpster.

The Chest dresser is real nice! It is very sturdy and comes with wall anchor kit but it also has a safety mechanism built into each drawer for additional safety for little kids you must close a drawer to open another so it has zero chances to become front heavy and flip on top a kid! The color I got was driftwood so it’s a greige color not gray but not brown very unique and real pretty and the drawers are spacious and fit a good bit of clothes. It’s a Great deal and happy with purchase!

Arrived quickly and was packaged well. Was definitely a heavy box. Instructions were not very clear and it took about 2 hours to build with 2 people. It is if course the fake wood, particle board material like most furniture now a days. However, it looks very nice and fits my needs. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the instructions can definitely be better.

Somewhat time consuming to assemble but straightforward enough. Drawers slide open easily due to the wheels, and it is a great size that doesn’t take too much space.

So cute, compliments my space so well, drawers slide out great and very good space for my things!

Received this piece yesterday and had it put together in about an hour. The drawer runners come pre-installed both on the inside of the cabinet as well as the outside of the drawers. Saved a ton of time. The dresser heavy, sturdy, and definitely looks like it cost more than I paid!

Sturdy dresser!

This dresser arrived promptly in an unmarked box and was undamaged. Assembly is not especially complicated, though it is very important to pay close attention. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. A screwdriver and a hammer are required an Allen wrench is provided. The instructions say two people are required for assembly. I didn’t have any trouble assembling it alone. After I finished assembling the dresser, I noticed the drawer safety feature was not working smoothly. The drawers get locked in place and you have to feather another drawer to get the safety system to engagedisengage. I ended up taking off the small attachments that each drawer relies on for the safety system and now the drawers move freely and smoothly without the safety system. For an assembled piece of furniture, this dresser is heavy and sturdy. The structural pieces of wood are thick and good quality. It appears to be durable and I expect it to have a long useful life. I’m so happy with this dresser that I ordered the matching six drawer dresser.
