Elizabeth Mid Century Solid Wood Accent Chair Upholstered Armchair with an Extra Pillow

I really love the look of this chair, but I strongly suspect I was sent one that someone else had already tried to assemble and returned. There was dried wood glue on both ends of the front crossbar, as though someone had tried to reinforce or repair it. The glue had dried in thick, uneven lumps, preventing the pieces from sitting flush together, and the wood itself was also damaged with noticeable scratches and wear in the finish. Assembly was extremely frustrating. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the hardware did not line up or fit properly, which made getting the screws in extremely difficult. Once assembled, it still feels much cheaper than it looks. The seat foam is low quality and makes a noticeable squeaking sound when I sit down, like cheap foam compressing. It makes me question how well the cushion will hold up with frequent or prolonged use. It’s a shame because aesthetically I really like the chair. From a distance it looks great, but the condition it arrived in, difficult assembly, and cheap-feeling cushions makes the overall quality disappointing. Would not recommend.

It was very easy to assemble and created a beautiful little corner in my living room. It was slightly smaller than I expected, but overall, I’m very happy with how it looks in the space.

This chair went together so easily! It’s exactly what I wanted and looks great! Absolutely worth every cent!

Love this chair and easy to put together!

Chair came together quite quickly and is deep and comfy. Only issue is it came with some dings on the sides I’ll have to fix
