Once they were assembled, sadly they were too full for our island, even though we measured so carefully. They sat nicely together, but no room for us to sit comfortably with four people. Plus, our grandbabies would have destroyed these gorgeously upholstered chairs. I am still so sad that we had to return them. These Bridgette bar stools are really good quality. Exactly as described. I had read a review that the oatmeal color was more gray, I don’t agree as the color is perfect, not gray but not beige either and exactly what I was after. They are well padded, back rest very comfortable, the pedestal is sturdy, they swivel well and go up and down with no problem. I hope I’ll be saying the same thing in a years time!
