It was the perfect solution for our “bistro” space. Pay heed to other posters you do have to carefully drill the base into the top. Not sure why the manufacturer didn’t notch holes in the top. But it looks great when it’s assembled.

A very nice table before it gets shipped!!!! Arrived with a chunk out of the cherry wood. Hole in box where it was apparently dropped. Box has hiking boot footprints on it. Very disappointed. Not fixable but usable. And expensive. Should be discounted for the damage. I will be more careful online shopping knowing shipping will damage. Shame on you Fed X. Plus it took over a month to get here. Local shopping for me from now on.

The table is very well built. The base is heavy which makes the table very stable. Assembly instructions are provided but not how to attach the table top to the base. For instance, one would need a drill with the proper size drill bit to drill 8 holes into the table top. A stop on the drill bit would insure that the bit does not penetrate to the other side of the table top. Another nice feature is the option to select the wood grain or black top. I selected the black top and mounted a 36" diameter glass on top of it. The whole assembly is heavy but stable due to the sturdy base. Built-in adjustments under the base helped to stabilize the table. Excellent purchase and highly recommended.
