Shaler Extendable Solid Wood Dining Table

Love the weight of this piece. It looks a bit rustic but is smooth and has a clean finish.

After having this table 5 months it will no longer shut properly with the leaf. I have contacted Wayfair with photos .. hopefully they can help. Highly disappointed!

Disappointed in the quality of this table. With and without the leaf in the table it does not close completely and leaves a significant gap on the table top as seen in the pictures. Also there is a grainy feel on half of the table. Gave two stars because the table seems very solid and sturdy.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! I understand this table is real wood and will expand and contract with temperature change, but after having this for under two months, I am already unable to close the latch due to the extreme warping of the table top. This is also the second table top after Wayfair delivered a replacement due to the first top having the same issue. I would highly recommend something else.

Five star design. One star durability, which I weight higher than design. The table is beautiful—lovely shade of brown. Classic design. However, we’ve had it for about a year now, and wow, does it scratch and chip easily. You can see tiny scratches all over the table when the sunlight hits it, and now the top is starting to chip. I don’t imagine we’re harder on our table than any other family (we use it to eat on and wipe it down with a damp cloth), so it’s concerning how poorly it’s held up. We paid 1000 for this, so I’m really hoping I’m not going to have to replace it in a year or two ( I’ve tried to take pics of the scratches—hope they give you a sense of what I’m talking about.
