Darcy Upholstered Headboard

It arrived damaged on the bottom. I decided to keep it because it’s made so flimsy I was afraid that another one would arrive damaged. I love the design, fabric and rhinestone’s. But I’m going to purchase lumber and reinforce it on the back. The way it is, I think it was made from balsam wood, because it isn’t firm and sturdy. I could snap it in half. The damage isn’t noticeable because it’s hidden by the mattress, I’m sure the delivery driver dropped it on its edge and that’s how the bottom frame got crushed. If it was made from stronger wood, it wouldn’t have crushed. Honestly, I should be receiving some money back because of the damage, but I’m sure that won’t happen. It’s beautiful, but made very cheap. For the price I paid, it should be made better.

Love the look of the headboard.was easy to install and the ability of height adjustment was great.
