Didn't love this. The images don't show the top view well but FYI all of the braided leather pieces are fastened with small gold detail which is all around the perimeter - didn't love this so decided to return.

Lovely stool... but, the overall height is actually 18.5" not 17.5". Just note that if you are trying to fit the stools under a tight space.
