Hanson Upholstered Bed

I was really looking forward to getting this bed set up. It is a beautiful piece however it is not without its issues which is disappointing as I expected better quality based on the higher price. It took me (one person) 3 hours to build, this is due to the fact that numerous drill holes either didn't line up or weren't drilled all the way. Also note that a support piece for the headboard came damaged with a large dent in it and the headboard itself arrived with a hole and chunk of wood missing from the back. It took a ton of patience as well as lots of strength and tenacity to put this bed together but the end result is gorgeous. It should also be noted that the fabric colour is more of an OATMEAL than cream or ivory. My last complaint is that the side & foot boards don't line up tight enough so there is a bit of a gap. Wayfair customer service was extremely helpful throughout the process of putting it together and the Manufacturer was pretty helpful with support. One more complaint, the fabric is poor quality which stains easily and watermarks even when cleaning with distilled water. Would not purchase again and would not recommend buying it.

We love our Hanson bed. We’ve had it for several years now and paired it with a Casper king size mattress. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t creak or shuffle when you move in bed. The color is beautiful. If any lint gets stuck on it, a quick electric lint roller solves that issue. You can see the black metal on the back sides if looking directly at the bed but if you add larger sized pillows it can be covered up.

The bed is beautiful and sturdy. The quality, craftsmanship will not disappoint. Take the plunge if you’re on the fence.

"Really wish I could give this 5 stars! I have been debating over ordering this bed for months and finally pulled the trigger and ordered it. After waiting through multiple shipping delays, the bed finally arrived and it wasn't even the one from Joss & Main! The only reason I didnt order this directly from the Joss & Main site was that shipping seemed faster on Wayfair (jokes on me I guess). This box from Skyline Furniture Manufacturing is what shows up and this thing was not well made. Fortunately I am pretty good at building/engineering things but this bedframe took both me and my husband manipulating pieces of this to get it to sit correctly. There are still spots that the upholstered pieces do not line up smoothly. Like I said this things is beautiful, but be prepared to spend some time assembling it with work outside of what the instructions are telling you. Separately - the finish is beautiful, love love love the color and texture of the linen. But really think the price should be about half of what Wayfair is charging considering I still basically had to build parts of this bed myself (and yes build, not just assemble)."
