Love it! Sturdy and put together in about an hour. So happy with this purchase.

Came with a couple dings but not super noticeable and not worth the hassle to return. We have a 10 inch king mattress and it doesn’t quite reach the headboard, but looks covered with pillows and duvet. I think it is a nice walnut color.

This bed is absolutely as gorgeous in person as it is in the picture. It is very high quality construction. The instructions were very good except for one small detail as it relates to screwing in the feet to the bed slats. You actually have to pull the bed slats apart with some strength in order to get the bed feet to screw into the pre-drilled holes. It is not a design flaw. It is actually a more stabilizing design. The bed is very beautiful and extremely well made. I put the bed together with the help of my kids. It probably took us about an hour to an hour and a half. I think it would be hard to put together if you were only one person. But the directions are straightforward and the tools that you need are provided. I have both a box spring and a mattress and it works very well. Only using a mattress (without the box spring), unless the mattress was super thick and big, would likely not work as well given the height of the headboard. One important detail to know is that IF you pay for the assembly of the bed, it is NOT done at the time of delivery. For me, FedEx delivered only to my front door. Then you have to wait a day or two for someone from the assembly team to come set it up. It comes in two boxes. One box is fairly light but the other one is very heavy. Dealing with the weight of the boxes and getting the contents into the house was by far the hardest part. I ordered the assembly in part to get the delivery into my house and have someone set it up. But the process does not work that way. As a result, I dealt with getting the contents in to the house and then just decided at that point to assemble it myself with my adult kids. I think that is the only flaw in the advertising. Wayfair should make it clear that assembly is seperate from delivery. Other than that, the bed is a keeper and for the price, an amazing purchase!

Elegant looking bed in a dark brown finish. It wasn't too hard to put together with the help of a friend who is good at assembly.
