I absolutely love this bed! This is actually the second time I’ve purchased it. We originally bought this same bed about 6 years ago in the blue velvet, and it held up so incredibly well that when it came time to update our bedroom, we didn’t even consider another bed, we just ordered the same one in a different color. This time I chose the Sky Neutral Beige Velvet, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I was a little hesitant at first because some of the Wayfair photos made it look like it had a slight pink undertone. Thankfully, I took the time to read the reviews, and they gave me the confidence to order it. I’m so glad I did because in person it is absolutely stunning! The color is a beautiful warm neutral that works perfectly with my room and doesn’t look pink at all.
One thing I will mention is that I wouldn’t describe the fabric as a true velvet like our previous blue one. It’s softer with more of a brushed fabric feel, but my husband and I actually prefer it. Our blue velvet bed tended to attract a lot of dust and lint, so we were constantly cleaning it. This fabric doesn’t seem to have that issue, which has been a nice bonus.
The quality is outstanding. The bed is very sturdy, well-made, and feels incredibly solid. Even after owning our first one for six years, we never had any issues with squeaking or stability, which is exactly why we chose to buy the same bed again.
If you’re on the fence about the color or wondering if this bed is worth the investment, I can honestly say it is. It completely transformed our bedroom, and I couldn’t be happier with how elegant and luxurious it looks. Highly recommend!
