For the price the look is very good. Strangely, the headboard and footboard do not touch the floor, only the attached mattress frame. It appears the bed frame is floating. Edit—this was an assembly error on our part. It has now been corrected!

The description says the footboard is subtly bowed, but there is nothing subtle about it. It is an obvious rounded footboard and it looks terrible. I’m so unhappy.
