The head and foot board and side panels are completely solid! It looks to be very strong and sturdy but I was disappointed to see a single wooden beam in the middle of this solid frame. I ended up adding wood ply boards to ensure its sturdiness. The bed squeaks when we get in and out. I’m nervous it will breakdown.
