Upholstered Ottoman

My wicker chest looks exactly like the picture that I saw online. I’m very satisfied with the product.

The product is structurally sound built with ply wood and roomy for storage on inside. HOWEVER, the "rush grass" covering is of poor quality, ruining the aesthetic aspects of this product. First of all, there's not enough of the rush grass applied to the surface to begin with; it's a sparse minimum that's been applied to the box, which makes it very easy to see the wooden structure underneath/showing through in areas (where rush grass is "missing."). Secondly, the rush grass itself-- hard to believe it's actually real (plant) rush grass as it feels more like a paper product that's been dyed light beige. When you touch it, it does not feel like my other authentic rushgrass items that I own; it feels almost like crepe paper that's been ironed out, very flimsy and thin. After owning this product for only a month or so, the rush grass is already deteriorating on the lid where I sometimes set the mail, or where I might sit on it or place some books. The grass is coming off in small shreds and pieces, which collect on the floor and then you find yourself vacuuming those pieces every week, with added frustration of even MORE of the wooden box showing through now. Would not recommend this product due to the poor quality of the fake looking rush grass.

It is perfect for what we needed. Sturdy and nice looking.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. It is absolutely made out of tissue paper. There is no water hyacinth whatsoever. Completely false advertising.
